I’m trying to deploy Outlook 2007 to our users with the .msp customization file. Since we aren’t on Exchange yet I need to keep our current client installed and as default. I can’t seem to find the option in the Office Customization Tool to disable Outlook becoming the default mail client. Previously I was looking at deploying this through a Ghost AI package and at the end of the package replacing the keys in:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Clients\Calendar\
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto\shell\open\command
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail
Unfortunately there were a few glitches with the outlook client after testing the package. The .MSP package is much more stable so far. If you know where I can set my needed setting in the admin file please let me know, thanks in advance.
