Outlook 2007 (Not Responding)

Things have been going well for 8 months now,
suddenly this morning Outlook 2007 stops
responding just about eveytime I try and open
or reply to an email. Screen goes hazy white,
freezes, taskbar states it stopped Responding,
and then after a while it “unfreezes” I finish
the reply, start a new email and this process
repeats! Any idea? Microsoft has nothing for
me on this.
