outlook 2007 outbox stuck

1st, we use a 3rd party for our email along with outlook 2007. A user attempted to send large file and it is stuck in the outbox. Our service said the email had not reached then. It was first sent using 2003, so I upgraded to 2007. Still no response using delete.
