One of our managers has a P.A who has delegated access to his Outlook 2007 email Inbox. The managers account (Inbox, calander, tasks etc.) is automatically opened in her Outlook when she opens the program. Her profile is set to ‘Cached Mode’ so all her emails can be accessed when she is not connected to the email Exchange.
The issue we are having is that when reading the managers emails her system grinds to a halt as she is having to read the emails remotely. We are trying to find a way that we can cache the managers Inbox on her computer as well as his Calendar and Tasks (which are already cached) in order to improve performance.
We have looked on numerous sites, but all seem to say that Cached mode for delegated Users includes all folders except mail folders. Is there anyway this can be changed?
I have looked at the Office Customisation Tool, set up a test account and changed every setting I could find and searched Google with combination of words and phrases. I would say it is not possible but the P.A assures me that in her last job, that is how her email was set up.
Please help.
