Outlook 2007 Task Input Panel in to do bar

My task input panel has suddenly disappeared from the To DO bar.
I’ve tried everything I can think of and can’t get it back.
It still exists in the main task window but I use the to do bar in calendar view and use this feature a lot
Any suggestions?
