Outlook 2K SP3 stop responding when Synchronizing

Anyone know how to fix this? I tried many solution and non of them work.

When closing down outlook 2000 SP3, it start to Synchronize, most of the time it will stop halfway and stop responding or it might stop responding when it show ” updating Synchronize Log “.

I tried turn off Synchronize, then restart and turn Synchronize back to rebuild it, and still having same problem.
