I have one classroom with identical hardware and have Outlook 2K installed in a Win95/Novell 4.11 environment. The Users profiles are downloaded from the server when the user logs in. Most people have Spell-checking enabled in their profile. Whensending an E-mail, the spell checker is of course invoked automatically, but Generates an error (I don’t remember the exact message at the momemt) and totally abandons the e-mail message (doesn’t save it, send it or anything … it is just lost… vaproized.
In trying to repair the problems I have both run the Office Repair, and a total Uninstall/re-install of the software still no go. This is the only classroom where we have this problem. We have several individual departmental users still running Win95 with Office 2K without any problem. (win95 –> if it ain’t broke don’t upgrade to Win98 !!).
