Please could someone help? For the last couple of days i have been having this crappy problem with outlook where when receiving mail with an attachment(microsoft programs only, word excel etc.) I try and open the attachment and then the the message in the bottom right hand corner pops up saying ” Requesting data from exchange”. Outlook then hangs and an error message pops up saying “Can’t write to file:C:\documents and settings\%username%\localsettings\tempory internet files\olk…\… Right click the folder that contains the file that you want to write to, and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder”. When i close the window the sending error report message pops up. I send the error report and it comes back saying that a previous microsoft update is causing the problem and i should download the newest updates for office. Did that, doesnt work!!
Please could someone help.
