Outlook Express 2007

Gentlemen, I recently found a portable “Microsoft Office 2007” wich contains the programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook Express and Publisher. I’m a fan of very well made portable applications and this one seems to be a good one…BUT…I configured Outlook step by step, the right way it must be (I think) but it was unable to send and receive emails – a screen appeared saying that I should enable an item “Instant Research” (my translation) and install a component of Microsoft Windows.
Would that be the reason that Outlook didn’t work?
