Outlook Hangs

Recently– our e-mail has begun experiencing a problem (has been running fine for a year and no changes have been made). When a large file attachment is sent (over 1 MB) the recepient’s Outlook (98) hangs. It says “Not Responding” in Task manager. The Exchange server has plenty of free disk space, and there are no file restrictions on the mailbox.
