Outlook97

A client of ours has a problem in that whenever he sends email, the network logs him off. Have checked all the settings but cannot find the one which does this. We believe it may be in the registry. Can anyone help please.
He also keeps getting thedial up connection box when he is keying in documents. Does anyone know why this is happening. Thanks in advance.
