Outlook’s small reply

yesterday i was working on an email, cut’n and paste’n graph’s and whatnot, when the font size on my email changed. out of the blue, no prompting from me, it looked like someone had zoomed out on my email. now new emails don’t look like that, but all my replies do. i’ve gone into options and messed with the fonts and stationary, no luck. if i highlight the text, it says “Arial Black, size 10”, it’s more like size 2. it’s been years since i had to troubleshoot desktop apps, someone help me please, the TR crowd has always seemed to be able to produce great insight on most “pebcak” problems.

additional info, this is only affecting me view, recipients get a normal sized reply. and it’s outlook 2003 sp1.
