Paperless Doctor’s Office

I have a client that that is moving his practice to a larger centre. His office will consist of 4 doctors within 2 years. He has been thinking of the paperless option. Problem I have been encoutering, is that we are located in Canada.
Informationseems to target the United States. I will need information on hardware as well as the software side of the medical services here in Canada.
