Partition my Hard Drive.

I want to partition my hard drive to install 98SE along side of XP Home. After uninstalling XP, I am lost for what to do. Where do I go from there. Also why is there no Uninstall for XP? I checked my install/uninstall/ in control panel and it is notlisted. I don’t think this XP was worth the trouble since installing. Ever since upgrading from ME to XP I have had at least 20 system crashes, numerous software that is just not good any more, and booting problems along with no stand by anymore. XP Home upgrade was a real farce, I do want to do a clean install, I have the disk, but I do not know how to do that either. Can a guy get some help here??
