Password Algorithm finder

What I have is a program that stores passwords in a sql database but it uses some kind of algorithm to encrypt the password. I have a few of the passwords but I need to have the ability to translate the info from the database to show me the password. Does anybody know of a way or have some program that will let me basicly figure out what the equation is to calculate these out.
