Password Renewal w/ Win98 in 2k Domain

I have seen this issue before but don’t have a solution: When a Windows 95 or 98 machine (client) is due to renew the domain password it may or maynot prompt for the renewal notice and may expire without prior notice. I have also had the issue when prompted for the new password that it does not accept the new password due to inability to authenticate. I have seen this in multiple enviroments and the common link is the OS – anything win 95,98,me. Does anyone have a possible solution or workaround – currently I have to manually reset the password from the server but that becomes very tedious when you have alot of legacy PC’s
