Patriot Act – Setup DR Site in Canada

Hi!

My company is based in Canada. Our production is colocated in US, and our clients include US companies.

We would like to setup a disaster recovery site in Canada due to the fact that when disaster occurs, we can’t afford the time to fly down to the DR site to ensure DR kicks in properly.

Our main concern is the Patriot Act. Would setting up DR in Canada violate the Patriot Act for our US clients?
