PC Support / Service: How to stay alive

by kather0525 . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

Good day !

I am currently working as a Web support
specialist for customers using our online services.

I am trying to manage my time and money so that I can stay frosty on all of the technical issues that people go through. My positon gives you great experience in dealing with customers personaly, but most of the technical problems are just related to Web browsing assistance and login password resets. There are exporting issues, but the main reason for them is user error or software incompatibility.

Since I can’t really afford a technical course right now, I’m sort of stuck on how I can keep myself technically up to date. I certainly read some info, but how much should I digest at once?
And is the material sound enough to constitute as valid technical expertise?

If you have any suggestions it would be great !
Also any good websites not costing ( or costing very little ) would be great !

Thanks once more for your continued efforts and awesome response times !

Kelly
