PDF/FDF Automated email attachment

by mcavin . Updated 16 years, 11 months ago

Ok I have a fdf to pdf system in place that is pulling from my sql db for HR purposes. We are making some changes and one of the things they want is the ability that when someone submits a form it compiles the fdf/pdf and sends out a email with the pdf attached for the new department. I was curious if any of you had any ideas. Here is the script I have that sends out an email notifying users that changes have been made along with at the bottom I even tried just making a button they could click that would compile the fdf and pdf but I get asp errors when trying to run it. Here is my script if it will post here.. I have come to the conclusion that the button to compile in the email will never work due to the fact it doesnt know what user info to pull to bring the pdf up. If you guys got any ideas as to have it auto compile and send a email attachment at time of form submission I am all ears.
