Possible toTransfer a Domain User to another PC without joining the domain?

I picked up a new laptop this weekend and I would like to transfer all my files and settings from my old laptop to my new one BEFORE I get back to the office and join it to the domain. Is this possible to accomplish? When I try to use windows file and settings transfer wizard I get an error while trying to create the domain account on the new laptop.
