power point 2003 slide layout is blank

When you click new slide on the right side usually the slide layout options show up.

If you point to the blank boxs, it tells you what the lay out is and you can insert it into the presentation.

On one of my clients computer it is blank.
It is a windows xp machine with Office 2003, Home and Student.
