We are consolidating two buildings into one. We have two server room areas in the consoldation buiding. I of course am coming from the other building moving into the consolodation building. One server room area has two of my guys in it. One guy who’s been there a year has himself setup with all the space. The other guy doesn’t have any space, basically he’s a newby. The second server room is where I had my sights. We are in a space crunch and the other party want’s to make a tiny closet out of the second server room and use the left over space for something other than IT. I don’t want to force the guys out of the first server room and I don’t want to move out into the open warehouse area either which is the choice being offered. Generally I could be classified as the “pushover” but this time I think I’m going to fight for the second server room to be mine all mine ! I need my own space !
