Powerpoint slide show causes blue screen

Every time I run a powerpoint presentation in slide show mode, it crashes and blue screen after the third slide. I tried, various powerpoint files, updated Windows 2000 service pack, updated Office 2000 service pack, updated video drivers. The machine is a Satallite Pro 4600 notebook.
Anyone had a similar problem ?
