Powerpoint to pdf problem with text

I am publishing a copy of my powerpoint presentation to pdf and once it is done the new pdf is showing some of my text distorted.
Any clues why? I have the new Office student version of Word and it hasn’t happened before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have tried to find out why and gotten nowhere.
