presenting your works for managers

Imagine you’re working so hard on understanding problems,behavior,…. all necessary thing for doing job But when you want to show it to your top managers or other project managers , they cant understand how it’s important for them or they have no imagination about the major things in IT .
unfortunately it has bad image for IT staff and this is the start of war between coworkers.it is great help to know how we can present our work for people with diferent knowladge about IT.
