Primary Domain

Ok, here’s a good question. I have been hired for this company. What I found was that their Primary Server is NT 4.0 and they have about 6 other servers with Win2000. There is no active directory yet, and there is an exchange server 5.5 on a win2000.

All these servers have actual public ip address, but we are protected by a firewall.

My question is, I want to upgrade to a new server for their primary. Place active directory on it, and move exchange over to that server.

Would you recommend the move of exchange to the primary (we only have about 60 users).
