Print Server w/ CRE 2000

I have just set up a new network in a company that runs Cash Register Express 2000. So they have a receipt printer and they also have a L6000 multi-pass printer. They wanted to eliminate having to switch a box over everytime they wanted to print on the other printer so I set up a print server (netgear PS110) to run their receipt printer and then hooked up their multipass to run locally (since it needs the multipass background running) The receipt printer works fine, but since the cash drawer works off of the printer it needs to be set up as a LPT port or a COM port. CRE has a Print modifier option so you can set up a networked printer, but the computer it is hooked up to is the admin computer. Does any one have any thoughts??
