Hey guys, I’m a new member so bare with me.
I’m having problems networking a printer in an office I’m working at, ran off simple router no more than 5 computers are connected at a time to a main workstation which is then connected to 2 shared printers. Once sharing and confirming the domain name, all the PCs have been able to connect to the printers except for one laptop, which only connects to the printers when I through workgroup and connect manually (entering in the username and password) then I have access to the printers.
I assume I could remove the password protection on the main computer which is connected to the printers to resolve the problem, but I the other PCs are not having the problem so I don’t think that’s a good workaround.
To confirm, I HAVE enabled guest access to the main PC, confirmed all file and printer sharing, confirmed port access, confirmed that all PCs can ping each other, and bypassed firewall.
What am I missing?
