I am having a problem with a new printer. We use a program called QAD that we use for many things including printing cheques. We print from QAD which is a DOS type based progam to a NT4 print server. We use to use a Okidata 321 turbo for the cheques, but it died so we got a Okidata 390 turbo, now the print job will not print properly, the job will start to creep down as if the paper roller was moving to fast( these are dot matrix printers). We also tried a another 390 turbo and a Epson and they did the same thing! The weird thing about all of this is that we now have a old loaner Fujitsu and it works and so did the old Okidata 321 turbo. I have been told by certain people that there could be a layering problem between the two programsor that I have to manualy enter the printer control codes into QAD??? If anyone has any ideas it would ne greatly appreciated the people at QAD are out of ideas
