Printing from Word

My users printing to a HP5si networked printer and lately they have been getting intermittent format problems. Sometimes text formatted in bold, underline and/or small caps come out disjointed, out of line and underlines move a space. In WYSIWYG and Print Preview the document looks fine though. Any ideas? It looks like a printer driver problem to me but I have been unable to find anything on the HP website.
