Printing Problems in Linux 8.0

Anyone know enough to get an HP LaserJet 8150 on a network up and printing?

Everything seems to suggest that this would be easy, but I get errors when trying a test page.

The ip address is valid and correct. (Verified through ping).
The default port is valid and enabled. (Verified through telnet).

The printer is listed as supported from the manufacturer. (HP 8150N–same as 8150) The manufacturer even lists the PCL driver I need, yet it fails. The error message lacks any kind of detail to indicate where the error is.
