Problem Setting up SBS client

After a fresh install of Win98, when trying to run the SBS client setup disk, the program apparently installs the files but exits before running the configuration. When subsequently trying to log onto the network, the client computer reports that “No domain server was available to validate the logon”. Also, after running the client setup, the coomputer hangs up when shutting down. This computer previously ran Win95 and connected to the NT server fine. No hardware or connections have changed.Any ideas?
