Problem with Belkin KVM loosing keyboard

We have a Belkin F1D208 KVM and whenever you skip a port you seem to loose the keyboard. Going back one and returning usually brings it back…Hardly ever fails when you select your port by click on 1..2..3..4.etc instead of skipping.

Any Ideas?
