Problem with my Dell Docking station for my Dell D630 Laptop

My laptop boots up fine out of the docking station. When I place it in the docking station and turn it on it goes through the first dios screen then it doesn’t go any further. The green “lock” light in the top left of the laptop stays lit. It has a 9 in the middle of the lock. Laptop seems to be in a lock mode. Anyone have any solutions?
