Problems printing to HP Jetdirect

First let me explain the infrastructure. We cannot run an extra data drop so we took the existing data cable and plugged it into a Dlink DSS-5+. From the we plug one cable to a workstation and another to an external jetdirect 300x.

What happens is that the printer we’ll accept and print jobs and then it will stop and they will just queue. They wont print until you power cycle the switch. The jetdirect are all statically assigned.

I have even tried to plug the jetdirect straight into themain switch but same thing happens. Any one know what the problem and solution could be.
