Problems Re-Imaging my HP Pavilion Desktop

Everytime I try to re-image my HP Pavilion Desktop it keeps running through the first part of the Windows XP setup. It completes but then when it restarts it also restarts the first part of the Windows XP setup… Has anyone else encountered this problem and how can I get the install to proceed?
