Problems with Microsoft Excel

Hi there i am basicly having a problem with my Microsoft excel.

Ok so basiclly my compnay uses a kind of webbased kindda thing to do some work which will come out on excel sheet, Normally before they come out on Excel sheet it will prompt us if we want to confirm the update on a excell sheet, Well now its not prompting but instead it just opens and it will come out in codings.
