problems with Microsoft Office 2000

I have windows XP. Had to reistall everything. Had office on my compute before with no problems. Now when ever I open word in Microsoft office it crashes. Have done all the updates for windows and office, and that didn’t help. When I went into Dr. Watson log to see what is going on, these are the things that it says ” Following Frames may be wrong – Symbol file could not be found – Default to export symbols – stack unwind information not available – function:ntd77!K7FastSystemCallret” What is all this and what do I need to do? Any help would be great. Thank You
