Profile Related

Recently I had applied for a position of “Head networking” to an agency. This resulted in a call from a company which is 100% software oriented. They are primarily into software gneration and exports.
I have a Hardware/ Networking / Infrastructure management profile. How can I lend my services or be a resource to such a company.I am an MSCE and a CCNA qualified elctrical engineer working with a financial company having LAN and WAN infrastructure.
