project !!?

i want to do a project by myself, but am facing challenges before i start. i have a belief that anything has its basics so as project has its basics.

The initial stages of any project is analysis which give out the scope/ view of the final product needed. The analysis is done throught questions, observing, get involve and so on.

Well, my questions are now, wat are those questions basicallly should be asked to satisfy you needs?
your qns should be in which format/ structure basically?
How is exactly their format?
where should they basically target/hit?
what exactly you should need to know in order to start development?

Can anyone help me out?
