Prospects for Future

by dave.raj . Updated 25 years ago

Hi,I have just got a really silly question here. I have been a Systems and CAD administrator for the last 6 months. Before then I was in sales and it was really difficult to break into the I.T field, but with my current position, I was in the right place at the right time. I really enjoy my job. I have got a degree in Computing and recently I have been on three UNIX courses, shame I don’t get to use it much. I am also on a M.C.S.E course, but I dont intend to start that until the end of the yearbecause of time constraint. But I have always had a problem with interviews, because I have always got nervous and messed it up. Now I need to know is there a way I can learn to be better on interviews, especially regarding I.T roles. I know I am good at my job, even with the little experience I have got, but if I was asked a simple question regarding I.T, I would probably mess it up, but if I was asked to do it practically, I would be able to do it.Are there any books or websites regarding where I can get better prepared for interviews. I want to know this because I personally think I am sitting on a golden nugget regarding my career. Can someone pls help, especially if there is someone with HR knowledge. Thanks
