This question is regarding Proxy server.
In our organization we are using the leased line connection for the internet access. we have CISCO router and leased line connecting MRO Tech modem.We have 1 MBPs leased line connection. for our institute /campus network called intranet is completely depending on the proxy server connecting to internet. We have used the class A IP ranges starting from 10.10….. to assign all the clients connecting to proxy server via a DHCP server. We have made the network changes to internet explorer of each client on the network accordingly.
In this case recenlty the network speed is very very reduced and while checking the “ping ” command to the proxy from any clients some times it shows connectvity and some time not. But this connectivity status changes even in fractions of a second to disconnectivity without any reason. We are using the strong anti virus software and firewall settings for network security reason.Even then such problem started recently without any reason. Can any one help me to resolve the issue giving me the solution for this proxy server slowdown/connection problem.
