ps3 connecting to 802.1x

by dloetzer . Updated 18 years, 2 months ago

I live in apt/dorms, and i was just wondering before i run a 50 ft cable from my bedroom, will my ps3 be able to login to my 802.1x authenticated school network? has anyone done this? just tell me how or direct me to another forum
I know i cannot share connection b/w all of my devices but i can switch the cable and use one (i have 3 computers) at a time due to AP.
I know it can be done by installing linux and using the wpagui and dhcpcd and using a supplicant.conf and connecting through that and then switching os, or something to that affect but i do not want to do all the tweaking. but if this is the only way i need to know how?
I also have an att usb modem, could i use it?, if so how
40 gig model ps3
