Public Folder Permissions

On Exchange Server 5.5 SP3, running on Nt 4.0 SP 5 I experience a problem with the public folder permissions. Although role ‘editor’ is assigned to users in the client permissions, and although these users are ‘user’ in the folders permissions property, in some cases they were not allowed to edit/delete entries in that folder. Your help will be highly appreciated.
