Publishing MSI in Active Directory

Does any one what the size limit is for an MSI that can be published in the Active Directory. My current .reg file is 3,248kb, which is far larger than other MSI packages I have created.

I get the following message when try to publish the MSI package. . .

“The size of this object exceeds the maximum size set by the Administrator”

Microsoft advise (Q262166) that there is no way at present to alter this limit but do not tell you what size the limit is.

I cant break the package down into several packages. (horrendous effects)

Any advice would be a GOD SEND! ! !
