Questions regarding Linux Admin

Q.1. If I am a home Linux user how to automate a login in linux, where I don’t need to be user & password dependent, because all the family members are using the same PC. I want to login as root.

Q.2. How to telnet directly as root, not by using su – command on my home machine.

Q.3. How to install Linux from your local Hard Drive i.e. C Drive. I know how to install it from CD, but don’t know from HD.

Q.4. Do some one know any GNU list manager just like Yahoo’s Groups at group.yahoo.com, other then majordomo & mailman.

Q.5. How to burn a cd on your linux machine, I am unable to do that in linux.
