RAID5 and overhead

This is actually a 2 phase question. What is the maximum number of drives that can be added to a RAID5 solution?

How much speed increase/decrease will be seen in terms of read/write when going from 4 drives in the RAID5 to say 10 drives?

And lastly, what would be the cutoff point for your raid scsi solution before switching over to a fiber solution?
