I have a Toshiba Qosmio laptop running XP; AT&T DSL running though a 2-Wire Gateway and a 2200BG wireless card. There is also an X-Box 360 running off the Gateway. I had no connection or access problems for the first two years I owned this computer. Now, in the third year I have nothing but problems. This computer has always been used upstairs. If I bring it downstairs and connect directly through ethernet, no problems. If I sit in the same room as the router and connect wirelessly, no problems. Other laptops used upstairs: no problems. Bring this computer back upstairs:no connection. I am sick and tired of trying to get this useless POS to work. I have spent the last six months trying every single suggestion on every single forum and now I want to replace the card. Which ones will work and which one should I buy? Please: before I chuck it out the window!
