Redhat install stalls

I am attempting to install Redhat 9 on a Compaq Proliant ML530 and it keeps stopping. The error says the media may be bad but I later used the CD to install it on another machine with no issues. I also downloaded a new ISO and tried this one with no luck. I found an older version and installed Redhat 7.3 on this system and it went fine. The problem is that we had someone build a software program that requires Redhat 9 and we really want it on this machine.
