Registry Cleaning Programs

Is there a registry cleaning program that will allow the user to enter the paramaters to search and remove? For example: Typing in AOL. The program would remove any links that were not valid. Reason: I’ve used several registry cleaner programs and no single program can clean the registry properly. If anyone has tried to remove AOL for example, just uninstalling the program is the start if more than one update has been loaded. It took 2 and a half hours to remove the total program, this is after using two registry cleaner programs, and deleting AOL residual files from Program and Common files.
